Calum Best pulled out of an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine this morning, with a rep close to the model saying that he’d fallen ill. The son of George Best also dropped out of doing Big Brother’s Big on the Side on Wednesday night.
Reality star Calum was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house on Tuesday, and following his interview with host Emma Willis he went on a wild night out with fellow CBB contestant Jamie O’Hara.
Although the model was suffering with an ear infection in the house, we wonder if a hangover was responsible for him missing his scheduled appearances. Lorraine and showbiz presenter Dan Wooton also speculated the same thing.
On air Lorraine said, “I know a lot of you were looking forward to seeing Calum Best this morning. Unfortunately, just about an hour ago, he called and he’s not well- well somebody called for him, because he couldn’t call because he can’t speak. So we wish him all the best.
“I hope he gets well soon. Apparently he was sick in the house as well if you were watching. He wasn’t himself I don’t think.”
Dan then chimes in, jokingly reminding viewers of Calum’s Tuesday night escapades, “But he did have a big night out, with Jamie O’Hara!”
Despite his disappointing no-show, Calum did take to Twitter this morning to apologise for missing Lorraine and the Big Brother spin-off and promised to make it up to fans.
We hope he’s feeling better today!
