A teaser for this year’s The Late Late Toy Show has just been revealed, and it looks as if this one could be the best show yet.
The teaser sees The Late Late Toy Show host Ryan Tubridy unleash his inner Sinatra by lip-syncing a version of ‘All I Want For Christmas’ in front of a panel of young judges.
The 60-second version of the promotional ad will make its television debut in the first commercial break on tonight’s RTE Six One News. Along with a shorter 30-second version, the promo will feature on RTÉ over the next two weeks as excitement builds for the biggest night on Irish television.
While the theme of this year’s show remains top secret, the set is going to be one of the best yet, as producers have drafted in help from students at IADT Dun Laoghaire to make their vision a reality. Fans will also get an insight into how the programme comes to life in The Late Late Toy Show Unwrapped documentary series, which starts on Wednesday the 30th of November on RTÉ One.
Viewers can also still be in with a chance of attending this year’s extravaganza, by entering RTE’s #ToyShowSnap competition for tickets.
The Late Late Toy Show airs on Friday the 2nd of December at 9.35pm, but in the meantime you can check out the Christmassy teaser to get you in the festive spirit!
