Des Bishop is the latest celeb to have been booted off Dancing With The Stars, after receiving the lowest number of votes on last night’s show.

Despite being awarded with his highest score ever by the judges, the comedian’s passionate Paso Doble failed to impress viewers.

Shocked and disappointed by the outcome, Des revealed after the show that something odd is going on with the public vote, and that there are flaws in the system.

Speaking to the Irish Sun he said, “I went out on my highest score. I’m disappointed. People can multiple vote and you can organise things and get a tonne of people voting at the same time.

He was shocked to leave this early.

“I would have liked to have gone further. The public vote is such an odd thing. I was getting great feedback and doing social media.

“Maybe people think you are OK, who knows? It is what it is. It might be that people just didn’t want to vote for me.”

Taking to social media, the 41-year-old thanked his partner Giulia Dotta for all of the hard work she’s put in, and also to those who did vote to keep them in the competition.

Des also admitted that while he was grateful to have gotten this far, he was saddened to be the 4th celeb voted off the ballroom dance floor.

“I was thinking we would go a little further. John Bishop was tweeting for me, you know what I mean? I put more effort into the public vote this week because there are two weeks of no eliminations.

“Next week is the shake-up week and no one gets eliminated. Now you have got two weeks with all that dead weight out there,” he said.

You’ll be missed Des- we loved your faces!
