Another series is on its way!

Bridget and Eamon fans rejoice! Bernard O’Shea has revealed that writing for series three of the comedy show has already commenced.

The Breakfast Republic presenter told VIP Magazine.ie today that viewers can expect to see the unhappily married couple get themselves into more hilarious situations, with the help of their friends Concepta, Father Gay and all the lads! With just a few months to wait, series three should be on our screens by autumn.

“We’re making series three, we’re currently writing it at the moment. We started writing that last week. We’re hopefully going to be filming it in June/July, and it will be on your telly screens hopefully in September.

“We’ll have the same kind of crew again, we’ll see Jimmy and Martin and the lads from the IRA, and Father Gay, Concepta and all the rest of the characters.”

Bernard is set to take part in Ireland’s first ever Comic Relief night in the 3 Arena on St. Patrick’s Day along with fellow Irish comedians Deirdre O’Kane, Des Bishop and Dara O’Briain to name a few.

He let VIP know where he gets the inspiration for his material, and that he’s looking forward to taking part in the inaugural event.

“I’m really looking forward to it, it’s going to be a great night, Paddy’s night in the 3 Arena. I’m really looking forward to it, it’s such a big crowd.

“(I get my inspiration) from my life! My ever ending pissing about Dublin and making a t*t of myself, generally that’s where most of it comes from! Also having a small family to which I am no way mentally equipped to rear,” he said.

Tickets are still available for ‘Paddy’s Night In Support of Comic Relief’, with prices ranging between €39.00 and €45.00.
