Ray D’Arcy has had quite the colourful career in RTE, hasn’t he? The tv star kicks off his new chat show this Saturday, and with that in mind, the broadcaster has released a clip of his best moments.
And boy have they digged deep into the vaults! Among the nostalgic moments are Ray throwing some shapes with a young Kylie Minogue, impersonating James Bond and chilling with his besties Zig & Zag. Ray even reunites with Dustin The Turkey in the clip, who suggests he should be arrested for “crimes against television!”
The Today FM host started on RTE back in 1988 with the Jo Maxi show, before he replaced Ian Dempsey as the presenter of the hugely popular The Den in 1990. The 51-year-old also hosted You’re A Star from 2002 to 2005 and presented the Rose of Tralee from 2005 to 2010, as well as working on School around the Corner and Celebrity Bainisteoir.
Tune into see him in his new role on The Ray D’Arcy Show, Saturday, RTÉ One at 9:45pm.
