Will Keith Duffy take part in this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here?

Although this year’s series of the infamous I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is set to look very different from what we’re used to, swapping the outback for Wales, the rumours surrounding who’s heading in for over a fortnight of torment is the same as ever.

Among those rumoured to be taking part in the show is none other than Boyzone star, Keith Duffy. Rumours first begin to circulate that the Dublin native would be among the show’s line up back in April of this year. Since then, talk surrounding it hasn’t eased up, with Keith taking to Instagram last week to address the rumours himself.

Taking to his Instagram stories to set the record straight, Keith said that he would not be taking part in the show.

“Hey everybody what’s up? Just a quickie, everybody is calling me about going into the jungle for I’m A Celebrity” he began.

“I’m not going in, I never was going in, I don’t know where it came from”

Keith also went on to say that although he won’t be physically taking part in the show, he has every intention to enjoy it from the comfort of his own home, adding: “I love Ant and Dec, I love I’m a Celebrity, I’m going to watch it from the comfort of my own sofa.”

The Sun has also reported that Keith has had meetings to get on board with the tv show.

“Keith has had Zoom meetings with I’m A Celebrity’s booker” an insider said.

“Since the location moved from Australia to North Wales it’s been a little more tricky to get people on board but the team are confident they sold it well.”

The Sun has also reported that Keith along with eight other famous faces was papped separately leaving a photoshoot, including Curtis Pritchard’s big bro Aj Pritchard, and Olympian Mo Farrah, all of whom are also rumoured to be taking part in the series.

So will Keith be taking part in the show? Looks like we’ll have to tune in on November 15th to find out.
