The Ireland player tried to impress golfing champ Rory McIlroy yesterday, he stopped by at rugby team’s base at their Celtic Manor resort after Sunday’s win against France – but he ended up ever-so-slightly red faced.
After Rory took him and squad members to the practice range for their own private masterclass, Luke showed himself up after sending the golf ball one inch off the tee but sending the driver 30 metres down the range – much to everyone’s roar of laughter.
And Luke’s embarrassment didn’t end there – team member Ian Madigan took a sneaky video of him practising his shot later in the evening, questioning where it all went wrong.
