The video for Kodaline’s latest track ‘Love Will Set You Free’ has finally landed, and we can’t get over how good of a job Courteney Cox has done on it!

The star got involved with the boyband after her fiancé and Irish musician Johnny McDaid worked with the group, and co-wrote their single.

Speaking to People magazine, Courteney said, “When Johnny first played me ‘Love Will Set You Free’, I was blown away. The song is incredibly beautiful. After hanging out with the gigs and getting to known their personalities, I knew I wanted to direct this video and really showcase who they are as musicians and individuals. They are sweet, loving and personable, I wanted to show that.”

The video shows the group working on music and hanging out with their friends over in the States. To make it as true to life as possible, Courteney encouraged Steve, Vinny, Mark and Jason bring a whole heap of their close friends over to her Malibu home as she captured the fun on camera.

Kodaline were a little bit overwhelmed by the whole experience, but were delighted to be given the opportunity.

Speaking to 2FM recently, the group said, “She [Cox] shot the video for our next single. We flew our friends over. For some of our friends, it was their first time in LA so they were arriving and going straight to Courteney Cox’s house. It was all a bit surreal.”

Courteney has been hugely involved in the music industry since meeting her fiancé Johnny.

The pair who were introduced by Ed Sheeran back in 2013, plan to marry later this year and have promised that Ed will play a special role at the ceremony.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Courteney said, “We are certainly grateful to Ed for introducing us. I can’t imagine him not playing something at the wedding.”

She went on to say, “It’ll be a musical night,” hinting that there will be more than one musician performing at the lavish ceremony.

Their latest video comes after frontman Steve penned a song about Wexford resort Monart Spa, with girlfriend Diana Bunichi posting it on Twitter.
