Vogue Williams will be on our airwaves for the next few days.

She will be stepping into Ryan Tubridy’s seat in his Virgin Radio show as he takes some time away from the microphone.

How exciting!

On Friday’s show, he confessed that he would be taking a “little break from the radio”.

He was joined by Vogue on the show as they chatted about Glastonbury which is currently taking place over in the UK.

He then asked the podcast host what she was up to next week.

Vogue excitedly revealed: “Well, next week you have very kindly allowed me to fill your seat!”

She added: “I’m keeping the seat warm.”

He will be away for a fortnight, with Vogue filling in for the first week and Angela Scanlon taking over for the second week.

His show is also aired on Q102 across Ireland. It looks like Vogue and Angela will also be airing across the Irish station as they sometimes swap out Ryan’s replacement for a homegrown face on the Dublin station.

Last weekend, Ryan made a whistlestop trip to his native Ireland.

Ryan shared a video of him out running in the capital with the caption: “Swapping London for Dublin this morning.”

To really channel the mood he added Louis Armstrong’s Isn’t This A Lovely Day to the video.

Sure where else would you want to be?
