Vogue Williams has opened up about not getting a television presenting role, for a very strange reason.

She missed out on the job, not because of her skill set, but because of her height.

Yes, speaking on her podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me, she explained that she was too tall to be hired.

“I hate being so tall,” she told her co-host Joanne McNally.

“I found out today that I didn’t get a TV job – this was from like four or five years ago, one that I really wanted.”

“And I found out that I didn’t get it because the other presenter was so much smaller and that presenter was locked in. And they were like ‘We can’t have giant face over beside him because she’s too tall’.”

Sorry, what?

Well, everything happens for a reason and Vogue is flying high without that TV gig.

This week, she and Joanne announced that they were adding three more live shows to their My Therapist Ghosted Me tour.

They played 12 sold-out nights in the Gaiety earlier this year, before announcing four nights in the 3Arena in November and December.

They have just announced a fifth show in the 3Arena for December 3rd 2023.

And they’re taking the show around the country. Vogue and Joanne will head to The Royal Theatre, Castlebar, on December 6th before then heading to Gleneagle INEC Arena on December 13th.
