Summer is in full swing and we are soaking up the sun at VIP HQ.

To really celebrate summer, our latest issue has hit shelves which is full of incredible content. From all the behind the scenes at the Platinum VIP Style Awards to our conversation with Muireann O’Connell.

We also caught up with Niall Horan ahead of his third album landing and we chatted to Darren Kennedy at his LA home. You can see what else is inside here.

Here’s what Team VIP is loving.

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…Edelweiss Daily Serum Concentrate

One of my New Year’s resolutions was to get a skincare routine that I loved and stick to it.

And I think I have found my Holy Grail product — The Body Shop’s Edelweiss Daily Serum Concentrate. After just one week of using it, several people started commenting on how glowing my skin was.

That glow is all down to this daily serum. You use it night and day to make sure your skin is a smooth and as plump as it can be. My skin even feels stronger after using it for a few months.

Whenever I travel and have to cut down on my skincare products, this one is the first one I grab for.

Weekend Editor Sláine is loving…Hong Kong-style mango pancake

@cafecouffee Replying to @maria🥰 Hong Kong style Mango pancakes using Pakistani mangos This recipe makes about 4-5 pancakes 2tbsp corn starch 20g castor sugar 45g plain flour 20g icing sugar Pinch of salt 200ml WARM milk 2 eggs (room temperature) 1tsp vanilla 2tbsp melted butter 1tsp yellow food colouring 2-3 mangos Whipped cream: 200ml double cream/ heavy whipping cream 3tbsp icing sugar #hongkongpancakes #mangopancake #mangocrepe #mango #mangoes #easyrecipes ♬ original sound – Food by Couffee ☕️

Unless you’ve been living under a rock…you’ll have heard about Hong Kong-style mango pancakes. The tasty treat has taken over TikTok and I am not complaining.

It is essentially a crepe, with lightly sweetened cream and mango rolled up inside. They are truly delicious, and highly worth trying if you haven’t already.

They are available from most Asian-cuisine supermarkets or you can make that at home yourself.

Staff Writer Anja is loving…CurlyCo by Denise Walsh

All my curly hair gals, this one is for you. I’ve always loved my naturally curly hair but one of the difficulties that comes with having curls is no two hair days are the same. You feel? One minute your curls are soft and defined, the next they’re flat and frizzy. Honestly, it’s exhausting trying to keep up with them! I am, however, committed to looking after my hair, so when I started using the CurlyCo hair products by Denise Walsh I couldn’t believe the difference they made after one wash!

The range features an array of products to suit all your curly hair needs and is infused with sumptuous essential oils to help energise and refresh both you and your curls. With a defining shampoo and conditioner, mousse, cream and hold gel to choose from as well as a conditioning mask, CurlyCo has everything a curly-haired gal like me could ask for.

My current routine involves washing my air with the shampoo and conditioner, followed by the defining mouse and hold gel. I then softly diffuse and voila, frizz-free, soft bouncy curls!
