The Coronas have finally released the music video for their new single We Couldn’t Fake It.
The band coincided the release of their new single with their music video – and it’s even better than we expected.
The video shows lead singer Danny O’Reilly singing in a bathtub, while his band mates lay on the ground beside him underneath laser lights. The video also features two dancer who give an evocative performance to the song.
We Couldn’t Fake It is about a relationship breakdown, with some very poignant lyrics including; “And the screaming, but you’re already leaving” and “Now it looks over, before it even begins”.
The song and video have been very well received by both fans and celebrity pals, with Bressie taking to Twitter saying, “Top new @TheCoronas tune and savage vid which housemate @daramunnis worked on.”
Glen from The Script also took to Twitter to praise the boys, saying, “@TheScript_Terhi @TheCoronas Ye, heard it on the radio recently, sounds great, Danny is singing great.”
This is their first new release since their 2014 album The Long Way.
We’re expecting big things from The Coronas this year!
