Lottie Ryan has admitted that her family don’t want to release a book about the life of her late dad, radio DJ Gerry Ryan.
The presenter expressed that it’s not something any of them want, or have ever considered doing. The family want to keep his life as private as possible, and save some memories of Gerry for themselves.
“That book is never going to happen. We have never been in the slightest tempted to do it.The whole family agree that the memories of dad we are left with are for us only, and it’s not something we would ever share in a book,” she said to The Sun today.
Lottie’s mum, Morah Ryan, has been approached about the topic before, but she doesn’t like it, and won’t partake in many discussions about her late husband.
“My mum is a veyr private person. She doesn’t engage with the media in that way. That stuff is not on the table, and I respect her for that,” said Lottie.
