Britain’s Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle had to be comforted in Derry Airport in Northern Ireland after she broke down in front of shocked passengers.
The singer was taken away by staff and consoled after she became distressed in a busy airport lounge.
According to reports, she shouted ‘help me’ down the phone and was in a panicked state, as she prepared to fly home to Blackburn, West Lothian on her own.
An insider told The Sun that the 55-year-old was travelling home solo from the family trip to mark her birthday as her brother left her following a row.
The source said: “They had a fall-out and she found being alone overwhelming because she has Asperger’s syndrome.
“She missed her flight, and her PA picked her up the next day. It was distressing but I’m sure it will be patched up.”
We’re glad to hear everything turned out ok.
