Jake Carter and Karen Byrne have plenty to celebrate after revealing they’ve officially bought their first home together.
The couple, who got engaged last year after seven years together, shared the exciting news with fans on Instagram, posting a sweet snap of Jake’s hand, Karen’s hand and their beloved dog Lenny’s paw holding a brand-new set of house keys.
“We got you your back garden Lenny…” they captioned the post, hinting that their four-legged friend will soon have plenty of space to enjoy.
The happy announcement was quickly met with a wave of congratulatory messages from friends and followers, with Rosanna Davison, Katja Mia and Laura Nolan among the familiar faces sending their well wishes.

The exciting milestone comes after Karen previously revealed that the couple had put wedding planning on hold while they focused on getting onto the property ladder.
Speaking to The Irish Independent, Karen admitted that buying a home had become their main priority.
“As soon as we get the house across the line, we will start planning the wedding,” she explained, adding that she “can’t wait” to begin organising their big day once the move is complete.
The pair have previously shared their hopes of staying in Dublin, where Karen is based with her dance studio, despite the challenges of the current housing market.
“Regardless of having a ring, I knew we were in it for the long haul anyway,” Karen added.
Now that they’ve got the keys, it looks like it’s finally time to start planning that wedding!
