Sinead Kennedy was emotional as she reminisced on her 2023.

And she was sentimental as she welcomed all the adventures that 2024 will bring.

She shared a picture of Theo’s baby blanket with his name on it.

She wrote: “Hello 2024…2023 was so good to me. The year that we met this guy.”

“…but with everything that’s going on in the world right now I can’t help but feel all the more grateful to be able to hold my babies close and put them down to sleep knowing that they are safe.

“I honestly don’t have the words for how devastating it is to watch everything unfold as it has been…”

She added the hashtags: “#ceasefire #ceasefirenow #peace”.

The Today Show host was inundated with comments of support, with one person writing: “So true Sinead. It’s so easy to turn our heads to protect our own mental health, but we need to be shouting from the rooftops about it. It’s unbearable.”

Another said: “Welcome to the world Baby Theo, I feel exactly the same when I check on my kids before I go to bed and watch them sleep in their warm beds without a care in the world. I just wish I could gather up all the beautiful children living in turmoil and offer the same basic need to each and every one of them.”

“Beautiful Sinead, hope you’re doing well xxx,” a third said.

Sinead announced Theo’s arrival in November, saying: “Oh boy. We’ve been in a love bubble for the last while. Our little baba has arrived safe and sound. Theo Will Kirwan has made our family complete. We’re all in love with the new man in our lives – Indie especially is chuffed with her little brother.

She concluded: “Back to the newborn snuggles I go x.”
