Lucy Kennedy has joked that being around Denise Van Outen is ‘not helping my confidence’.
The TV presenter is set to host Ireland’s Got Talent, while Denise is one of the judges.
Denise joins Louis Walsh, Michelle Visage and Jason Byrne as judges on the talent show.
“I’ve got seven pounds to lose in three weeks, so I want to look hot and Denise Van Outen is about three stone, she’s not helping my confidence at all,” she told the Mirror.
“Denise is much quieter than I was expecting but Michelle Visage is the craic. She’s great fun, totally bonkers.
“I adore Louis and Jason is just a comic genius, it’s going to be a giggle a minute.”
The Living with Lucy host kicks off her role as host on IGT this week.
Although she’s not worried about the auditions, she is slightly nervous about making mistakes herself.
“I’m not worried about the talent we have so much in Ireland, I’m worried about slipping and falling on my arse.”
Ireland’s Got Talent kicks off on Tuesday, on TV3.
