Several Irish acts set to perform at this year’s Glastonbury festival

It’s the line-up we’ve all been waiting for.

Yes, the UK’s largest festival has just announced this year’s first round of acts and we spy some pretty familiar Irish artists up there.

Yes, Kneecap, Mary Wallopers, NewDad, Two Door Cinema Club, this year’s Choice Music Prize winners Lankum, and Fontaines D.C. will all be making an appearance at the iconic music festival.

Two Door Cinema Club will be taking over the “Other” Stage, while Kneecap and NewDad will both perform on the “Woodsies” stage.

Meanwhile, you’ll be able to catch the majority of the Irish talent at “The Park” with Lankum, Mary Wallopers and Fontaines D.C. all set to perform there.

Aside from our own, Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA have also been annouced as the 2024 headliners.

Other acts playing across the weekend include Shania Twain, Cyndi Lauper, Janelle Monae, Camila Cabello, Avril Lavigne and many, many more.

The festival will take place in Worthy Farm, Pilton in the UK between 26 and 30 of June 2024.

Sadly tickets have already sold out, however, the festival organiser has announced a prize draw for 20 pairs to raise emergency funds to support people affected by conflict.
