Saoirse Monica Jackson has managed to bag herself a role in the newest instalment in the DC universe.
She will play a key role in “The Flash” comic book movie adaptation, cast as an unnamed character. This is Jackson’s first venture into the film industry following her breakout role as Erin in the Channel 4 hit series Derry Girls.
The new installment in the DC universe will see Ezra Miller reprise his role as Barry Allen for the fourth time. In his first standalone role as Barry Allen, Ezra will be joined alongside Ian Loh who will take on the role of a young scarlett speedster.
Saoirse will be joining the universe alongside newly cast Ron Livingston, Rudy Mancuso, Sasha Calle and Kiersey Clemons. Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton have both been confirmed to reprise their roles as Batman.

The Derry Girl’s actress took to Instagram to share her excitement in being part of this: “very epic and extremely cool movie”. She posted the official trailer for The Flash to tease her fans and she certainly got us excited!
