The Hollywood actor has been a good friend of Ryan’s ever since he first appeared as a guest on The Late Late Show.

Russell was in the in the middle of hosting a dinner party when he picked up the phone to speak to Ryan telling him he is “going to do great things in that town” and congratulating him on his new show.
