She gained a huge following on TikTok before going dark on the app, and now Irish actor Ruth Codd has taken to the small screen.
The actor plays one of the central roles in horror series, The Midnight Club on Netflix.

26-year-old Ruth, who is known for her comedic skills on social media, plays Anya a lower-leg amputee wheelchair user who found family within The Midnight Club after a lonely and dark past.
The Midnight Club follows a group of ill teenagers living in a hospice with a mysterious history, they come together to create the Midnight Club so they can meet each night at midnight to tell sinister stories and search for signs of the paranormal.
The Wexford woman’s character Anya kickstarts the events of the series when she promises to send messages beyond the grave once she passes away.
Ruth is an amputee herself after breaking her leg at 15. The injury failed to heal, causing her agonising pain and ulcers which could not be remedied.
