We will be hearing the dulcet tones of Rozanna Purcell for the three weeks.

The Tipperary native will be stepping in for The 2 Johnnies on their 2FM show as they jet off to America to  film a new show.

Roz couldn’t hide her excitement as she revealed she would be teaming up with Emma Power to continue the afternoon show, Drive It, on the flagship station.

And we won’t have to wait long to hear these two powerhouses having all the craic on air as their three week stint kicks off on Monday June 13.

“So excited, big boots to fill – The 2 Johnnies. You know I’m the biggest fan of their podcast, they got me back listening to the radio,” she announced on social media along with the tag line, “Lads lads lads! The excitement.”

She explained that they wouldn’t be “taking over” their show, instead she and Emma would be doing their “own thing” and “sprinkling in some magic”.

Roz didn’t waste any time getting a dig in at the lads after they joked that she would be “filthy” on air.

She was quick to reply, “I won’t be too filthy though because I want make sure that I last longer than The 2 Johnnies’ first week.”

Emma Power, who is often a contributor to Drive It and also presents The Request Show on Sunday nights was just as buzzing to announce the news.

“So, do you want some goss???” she announced.
