Dublin Airport’s massive queues and waiting times have made headlines recently and now model Roz Purcell is sharing her experience at the busy spot.
Sharing a video of herself walking through Terminal 1, telling fans; “So I’m here at terminal one. If you’re flying out today…don’t.”
Posting a photo of the queue, she wrote it was, “about 400m long.”
Later on the Tipperary native revealed she didn’t stand a chance at making her flight and booked a new one, this time taking off from Terminal 2.
Saying; “So turn of events booked a new flight from terminal 2 (normally-empty) cause no one was making that queue”
Making it to Terminal 2, Roz updated followers again, sharing; “Ok security bad in at 2 but moving fast”
Luckily for her, she made her second flight in time.
Dublin Airport’s massive waiting times have gained significant attention this weekend, with it being reported that over 1000 people have missed their flights due to the delays.
DAA, the airport’s operator, has said it “apologises unreservedly to passengers for the delays encountered this morning”
In a statement, the Minister for Transport, Eamon Ryan, and Minister of State for International Transport Hildegarde Naughton expressed their views.
Saying the airport is “falling far short” and “not satisfactory.”
