It’s back! Rose of Tralee returns after three year hiatus

Rose of Tralee

It’s one of the best parts of being Irish – The Rose of Tralee.

Yes, after a three-year break the annual competition has returned, with our Roses set to return to our screens on Monday 22nd of August.

This year will mark Dáithí’s eleventh year presenting the show and the show itself will also celebrate its sixty-first year.

However, there are some firsts as they will bid farewell to The Dome. Instead this year, the Roses will take to the stage in the Kerry Sports Academy in Tralee for the very first time.

Dáithí joined the 33 International Roses today for a very glam photoshoot, where he shared his delight to be back!

“I am really excited that the Rose of Tralee International Festival returns this year, I think we all really missed it. I do feel like it’s another sign of things getting back to normal. I am looking forward to meeting the incredible 33 International Roses,” he confessed.

“I also cannot wait to go back to Tralee to see everyone take to the streets on Saturday night and presenting the shows on Monday and Tuesday where we will have a few surprises up our sleeves as well when it comes to the party pieces.”
