Ronda Rousey has hit out at Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather for being too caught up in making money as part of their boxing career.
After loosing to Holly Holm last year, Ronda controversially stepped away from all things MMA, but now that she’s back in the limelight in the run up to her to her highly anticipated return at UFC 207, she has some come out with some harsh words for her two male counterparts.
She has criticised Conor and Floyd for letting money be one of the main driving factors in their boxing careers.
“If money is the motivation, then f**k you,” Ronda said in an interview with ESPN.
“All these Money people. Money (Floyd) Mayweather, Money (Conor) McGregor. I see they’re trying to do an angle or whatever. People buy it. The worship of money in our society is so deep.
“But just because that’s the easiest way to keep people’s attention or entertain them doesn’t mean that’s the right way.”
However, she did go on to thank Conor for headlining the UFC 205 and taking the pressure off her for the event.
“Conor gave me the chance to rest, he took the weight off my shoulders, and I’m grateful.” she said.
