Karen Koster was on hand to mark the launch of the IKEA Soft Toy Campaign at the IKEA store in Ballymun, Dublin, raising funds for Save the Children and UNICEF education projects around the world.

This year’s soft toy collection is very special as it has been designed by children who were asked to let their imagination run wild and create fantastic creatures. From thousands of entries from around the world, ten lucky winners were picked to be given the opportunity of having their drawing recreated as part of limited edition range to be sold worldwide.

The campaign is very simple: for every soft toy, children’s book and children’s card game sold between now and 19 December 2015, IKEA Foundation will donate €1 to support educational programmes run by UNICEF and Save the Children around the world. Customers will also receive a €1 soft toy coupon for every kids meal sold during this time, which can be redeemed in store towards any children’s soft toy.
