It’s a big day for Nicola Coughlan as she will once again get to showcase her comedy chops…this time it’s all live!
Yes, it has been confirmed that Nicola will host an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live UK.
She will lead the comedy show on the 25th of April, alongside musical guests Foo Fighters.
It’s not Nicola’s first appearance on the show as she previously made a guest appearance on the first ever episode earlier this year.

She popped up during Tina Fey’s opening monologue as she kicked off the series which is an adaptation of the beloved American sketch show.
She jokingly asked the American comic: “It is lovely to see you. But my question is if this is SNL UK, then why are you the first host? Shouldn’t it be like a British icon, like David Beckham or Judi Dench or like Shrek?”
When Tina responded: “Shrek is British?”, Nicola responded: “Scotland is in Britain, Tina. Educate yourself.”
To which the actress said: “None of you f**kers wanted to do it.”

“Is it possible that many of us were a little reluctant to be in the first show because this is going out in Britain and British people tend to root for the failure of others?” Nicola responded.
When Tina asked: “Why are you guys like that?” Nicola responded: “I’m Irish. Educate yourself.”
But now the Derry Girls star will have a chance to show off even more of her brilliant comedic timing on the show as she will host the 75-minute episode.
She follows Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan, Riz Ahmed and Jack Whitehall. The White Lotus star Aimee Lou Woods will then present the following week’s episode.
