The top blogger's mother passed away suddenly in 2014.

Pippa O’Connor spoke openly and honestly about grieving her late mother, Louise Mullen, on last night’s Late Late Show.

Ahead of Mother’s Day this Sunday, the savvy business woman spoke candidly about how she copes with special occasions after mother’s passing.

“Grief is a funny thing and I don’t think that you need an occasion like Christmas or Mother’s Day, it can just hit you out of the blue on a Monday morning, you would smell their perfume or hear their song.” she told Ryan.

“For me, occasions are easier and I nearly have myself built up.”

Pippa went on to say that now that she has her own children, Ollie and Louis, she appreciates just how much her mum did for her and her siblings Cian and Susannah.

“Ollie was very young when my mum passed away and it was so sudden, it is only now that I have two young boys that I appreciate how much my mother must have done for me and my siblings.” she said.

“It’s tough, [I think about her] every day. Especially with the business and the level that we are growing at.

“I have such an amazing following online and people always say nice things to me like ‘Your mum would be so proud of you’ and these are strangers saying this to me which is so lovely.”
