Paul Mescal has earned a special thank you from his girlfriend Gracie Abrams, following the release of her highly anticipated third studio album, Daughter From Hell.
The 16-track record dropped on Friday, with the singer sharing an emotional message on Instagram thanking everyone who helped bring the project to life.
But among the producers, writers and collaborators, one name caught fans’ attention – our very own Paul!
In her post, Gracie thanked “every single player and writer” involved in the album, listing collaborators including Bryce Dessner, Justin Vernon, Marcus Mumford, Dan Nigro and of course, Paul Mescal.

“I admire you all,” she wrote.
Fans were even more intrigued by a separate, deeply personal message that appeared to be dedicated to the Gladiator II star.
“To the fans, I wouldn’t be anywhere without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. To P, for everything forever,” she added.
The touching tribute comes after it was revealed that Paul co-wrote one of the album’s tracks, Imaginary Friend, marking a creative collaboration between the pair.

Speaking about the songwriting process, Gracie described working with Paul as “so fun”, insisting their collaboration wasn’t treated as a major event despite his acting career.
Elsewhere in her heartfelt note, the singer thanked her neighbours “who probably heard most of these songs through the walls” as well as her parents, filmmaker J.J. Abrams and producer Katie McGrath.
“Most importantly, I would like to say thank you to my parents for loving their daughter from hell and for giving her every ounce of patience and trust they had,” she wrote.
Gracie finished her message by celebrating the album’s release and thanking fans for their support.
