Paul Mescal has a jam-packed schedule. He must be absolutely wrecked!
This week he jetted into Ireland to kick off Dublin International Film Festival with his new film God’s Creatures opening the event.
He was all smiles as he met fans on the red carpet but it was his parents that had him smiling the widest.
When he spotted his parents – Paul and Dearbhla – he made a beeline for them as they stood amongst those eagerly awaiting the Normal People star’s arrival.

The actor was dressed in Simone Rocha, running over to his parents and hugging them.
“There’s my dad,” he gushed before embracing his father, Paul.
He strode up the red carpet, telling media that he was “very excited” ahead of the Oscars.
Emily Watson, who plays his mother in the film, gushed about working with Paul on his first film.
She described working with him as “heavenly, of course“.
“To know him is to love him. He is really adorable and really, really talented. He is very special. It was very special.“
Dublin International Film Festival runs until March 4th
