Olivia Rodrigo certainly has a love for the Irish.
She used a video of Guinness to promote her new music, she’s definitely spent some time exploring the country and it looks like she is a fan of Irish artists as well.
The American singer performed a cover of CMAT’s When A Good Man Cries when she appeared in BBC’s Live Lounge.
CMAT shared a video of her reacting to Olivia performing the song and absolutely freaked out when she sang the lyric, “Dunboyne Diana”.

“Is she going to say Dunboyne?” the Irish star can be heard asking before jumping up in joy.
“She said Dunboyne! I don’t know why that’s f**king killed me!”
She captioned the video: “she sang it better than me so now im toast. @oliviarodrigo pints?”
She also shared an Instagram story writing: “I woke up like 10 minutes ago and I just heard Olivia Rodrigo sing the word ‘Dunboyne’ on live English radio. What phase of the simulation is this.”

Ah, CMAT never change.
It’s not the first time that Olivia has covered an Irish artist. Last summer during her Marlay Park gig, she performed I Love You by Fontaines DC.
We think we can claim her as Irish now!
