When it comes to New Years, Eve there are two types of people, the kind that want nothing more than to cosy up and celebrate the new years at home with an early night, or the kind that want to start the new year as they mean to continue – with a big blow out! Whether you’re a homebody or a party animal we’ve got you covered with our top things to do this New Year’s Eve.

1. NYF Dublin

This annual festival is an absolute must if you’re a music fan! The annual festival is due to take place on on St. Stephen’s Green South this New Years Eve and will feature some of Ireland’s biggest talents including; Walking On Cars, The Blizzards, Brian Deady & Little Hours. Tickets are priced at €27.90 and are available at Ticketmaster outlets.

2. New Years Eve Street Party in Waterville Kerry

Kerry is notorious for hosting some of the best New Year’s Eve parties around, and this street party is one of the main attractions! This is their third annual party and it’s attracting more and more people each year. Hosted by DJ Agers this outdoor event has a great line up of local bands & entertainers to suit all ages. Dancing on the Street starts from 8.00 till late.

3. Carnival Experience at The Mansion House Dublin

Welcome 2017 with a glamorous affair at The Mansion House in Dublin. The spectacular carnival experience in the beautiful Round Room will entertain guests with swing and fire performers, a brass band, aerial artist and a dj. There will also bubbly on arrival and a four course meal. Tickets are €110 each. For more information you can check out their website.

4. The Graham Show New Year’s Eve special

If you’d prefer to have a quiet night in on the couch tuning into Graham’s New Year’s Eve special is a must! The pre-recorded show will feature some of our favourite Irish personalities; the O’Donovan brothers and Michael Fassbender. It will air on New Year’s Eve on BBC One at 22.35.
