The latest season of Bridgerton is the most watched season in the history of the show.
Meaning that overall it is one of Netflix’s most watched series, well, ever!
According to Variety, the first four episodes of season three have been viewed a whopping 165.4 million hours in their first four days compared to season two’s 193 million in three days.
And you have to remember that season three has been split in half so despite having just four episodes compared to season two’s eight episodes, it has been almost watched the exact same amount of time.
Wow!

Nicola herself was gobsmacked by the numbers.
“This is wild, thank you all so much,” she wrote on Instagram after learning about the recording-breaking achievement.
And she was quick to share some of the hilarious comments viewers left on the post.
“and u bet all those minutes are of me watching the carriage scene,” one person wrote in reference to the racing moment between Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton’s characters of Penelope and Colin.
“y’all being horny and rewinding that carriage scene doubled the minutes watched I just know it !!!” another said.
While a third said: “I need Netflix to tell us how often the carriage scene alone has been watched and rewatched.”

Clearly delighted Nicola and Luke headed out for a delicious dinner out to celebrate the achievement.
“45 mil in 5 days? We celebrating,” she wrote alongside a black and white snap of the pair.
