It was icon on icon this week, as our very own Nicola Coughlan got to meet the one and only Kylie Minogue.
And like most of us, the Galway girl was fangirling over the interaction.
To be fair, it was very cute.
During the meet and greet portion for the pop princess’ TV show, An Audience with Kylie.
The moment began with Nicola giggling into the microphone and saying: “Hi Kylie Minogue”.
“I got a picture taken with your wax work when I was 12 but this actually beats that,” she continued before quickly telling the Padam! singer: “I mean you look better now than you did in that waxwork museum.”
Her praise didn’t end there as she went on to tell Kylie: “You are a beautiful princess and thank you for all the short women in the world, you’re our icon and we love you.”

The Bridgerton actress then asked a very important question: “I know you’re a very good girl, but have you ever accidentally ‘borrowed’ anything from a set?”
Kylie admitted to taking home a pair of Charlene’s overalls from the Neighbours set to the delight of the audience. Of course, Kylie was quick to pose the same question to Nicola.
“Oh yeah,” she was quick to respond. “People walk into my house and they’re like ‘This is very Regency’ and I’m like ‘I know!’ how did that happen?”
Cheeky, Nicola!
Well, we’ll be seeing a lot more of Nicola next summer when the third season of Bridgerton drops.
