Niall Horan has revealed that he was “extremely ill” on a flight this week, ahead of his Late Late Show appearance this evening. The One Direction star posted the news on Twitter, as he thanked the staff aboard the British Airways flight who he said “took such good care of me.”

The Mullingar native didn’t reveal what exactly had been wrong during the flight, but British Airways did respond to his kind tweet about their staff;  “Thanks for your lovely comments about the care you received from our crew on your flight, Niall. We’ll be sure to pass on your thanks to them.”

Niall is set to appear on The Late Late Show this evening and at the moment it seems this is still going ahead. Golf obsessed Niall will be joining Ryan to pay tribute to pro-golfer, Leona Maguire after her her incredible LGPA win earlier this month.

The Cavan native made history as the very first Irish golfer to win the tour as she clinched her win with a three shot victory, finishing in 18 under par in the final round of 67.

Sharing her delight after her win the 27-year-old said; “Dreamt about this moment for a long time and we’re only getting started! Couldn’t have done it without the help of my incredible team & family.”

Fans of the star will be happy to hear that he has been back in the studio working on new music. Although he’s been pretty quiet on social media recently, that’s nothing to be worried about as he has assured fans he has exciting things coming as he’s busy working away.

Taking to Twitter to fill his followers in on why he’s been MIA online, he said, “Hello Lovers Red heart hope you’re all well. Making some new music and it’s time consuming with long hours. I apologise for not being online a lot. Miss you.”

Fans then began to ask questions in the comments, one asked if he’ll do a tour once he releases the new music, to which he said, “I won’t release til I’m ready and then yes I would love to tour of course.”
