Niall Horan performed new songs at his record label’s event Capitol Congress this week.
The singer surprised guests when he debuted a song with country singer Maren Morris.
The duet, called Seeing Blind, features Niall’s well-known acoustic sound along with Maren’s country style vocals.
Niall told attendees that he reached out the Maren via email to ask if she’d like to collaborate on a song.
Thankfully, the Texan happily accepted.
It was not yet been announced when the song will be released, but the Mullingar man’s album is to be released next month.
His first solo album is set to be very different to the music he made during his One Direction days.
The Irishman previously told Idolator that it will be “folk-with-pop feel to it.”
“Some of the songs are heavier than others,” he explained.
“I play a bit of electric on some tracks and we obviously played around a lot with percussion stuff to build up the songs so there was a lot of things going on percussion wise.”
