The American Music Awards took place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles last night, and our very own Niall Horan took to the stage to perform his debut single This Town.
The 23-year-old has performed at the awards ceremony in the past with his One Direction bandmates, but this was his first as a solo star, and it was a total success.
Taking to Twitter after the star-studded ceremony Niall wrote, “Amazing night at the @AMAs. Thank you for having me as per usual. Appreciate it. Now let’s have a drink.”
It seems that the Mullingar did have that celebratory drink, alongside fellow Irish man Robbie Keane. He shared a pic on Instagram of himself and the former LA Galaxy player, and a number of other young men, alongside the caption “lovely people.”
We hope it was a great night.
