Nadia Forde’s emotional goodbye to best pal as she moves to Japan

Top model Nadia Forde and her rugby player beau Dominic Day moved to Japan yesterday to start a new life together, but not before an emotional goodbye with her closet friends.

The couple have been seeing each other for a year, and are happier than ever to be starting this new adventure together.

Pals of the model have been saying their goodbyes all week, including her one of her best friends, Rob Murphy.

Rob and Nadia and been close for years. He featured on Nadia’s two TV3 shows, Nadia Goes To Hollywood and Nadia: Chasing The Dream. The pair also worked alongside each other in the Cheerio’s panto in 2014.

Rob said that it was emotional saying bye to one of his closest friends and that he’s going to miss her terribly.

Speaking exclusively to VIP Magazine, he said that it was tough to say goodbye, but he’s delighted to see her so smitten with Dom.

He said, “We had an emotional FaceTime the other day, I’m going to miss her absolutely loads.

“I’m just so happy that she’s happy at the moment.

“She’s still smitten with Dom even after a year, it’s great to see.”

Nadia is set to visit home in July for a few weeks and is unsure if she will continue modelling in Japan.

Meanwhile, Rob will be starring in 69 Shades of Gay which is running in Smock Alley Theatre from May 30 – June 11.
