Huge congratulations are due for Mairead Ronan, who has announced she is pregnant with her second child.
The Today FM star revealed the big news on The Ian Dempsey Show this morning, after viewers of last night’s On The Farm questioned her on whether she was expecting.
Mairead, who is already a mum to 9-year-old Dara from a previous relationship, admitted that she is going to have her first child with new husband Louis Ronan.
Back in October, the host admitted that if she was to become pregnant it would be a “lovely surprise”.
“It would be a lovely surprise if it happens, but if it doesn’t happen for us, we have an amazing little package in Dara already,” she said.
“It would be the bonus ball in the lottery, as I’m a very lucky girl. I’m very much in love, I feel healthy, and I have a great husband, little boy and job. As box-ticking goes, I’m ticking quite a few and am pinching myself as I do so.”
