Maia Dunphy has taken to Twitter to thank emergency services for helping her little boy.
The TV presenter revealed that her Tom fell in the middle on the night.
Maia and Johnny Vegas’ son is just two-years-old and the mum was worried when her boy’s temperature remained very high.
She described the ordeal as ‘grim’ but thanked the fire brigade and hospital for their help.
“Well that was a grim night. Couldn’t get Tom’s temperature down and ended up in Crumlin via ambulance at 4am,” she said.
“Thank you so much to the immeasurably patient and kind men of Dublin Fire Brigade who turned up to help a frazzled mum in embarrassing pjs.”
She added: “You are wonderful and I hope you are thanked and praised on a daily basis. And thanks to the kind staff at Crumlin, who looked after us so well despite more serious emergencies coming in.”
Friends and followers of Maia’s immediately grew concerned about her little boy.
The producer revealed to followers that her son is suffering from a viral infection.
Replying to one follower, Maia explained that it is even harder when husband Johhny Vegas is away.
“It’s a sh**ty, helpless panic isn’t it? Made worse by being on my own at the moment, but everyone was so lovely last night.”
