Louis Walsh has slammed Olly Murs, saying that he should give up presenting and continue with his singing career.
The former X Factor judge believes the Troublemaker star should leave the hosting to someone else, and admits he got some enjoyment out of Olly’s blunder last weekend – where he accidentally and prematurely announced who’d be leaving the show.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, Louis said, “I loved Olly’s mess up. He made a mistake He’s a singer, not a tv presenter.
“He can just make records, he’s a good artist. He works really hard.”
Louis didn’t stop there with his comments about the X Factor, as he continued to slate the show in an interview with Star Magazine.
“I’d bring back Dermot O’Leary – and then all the viewers. Dermot was a safe bet. He wouldn’t have got anything wrong.
“I’m glad I’m not on it this year as the ratings are down,” he said.
And according to Louis, Simon is the main reason for this. “Simon has messed with it too much. It was an experiment that didn’t really work,” he said.
“He used to blame me. He’d say, ‘It’s your fault, people are fed up looking at you’. But it’s not my fault, it’s his. He f***ed the show.
He added: “We get on well, so I don’t care. I’ll tell him what I think.”
Fiesty!
