This morning saw RTE 2FM reopen the legendary Ryan Line, in honour of the late broadcaster Gerry Ryan.
The one hour special, put together to celebrate the station’s 40th anniversary, was a compilation of some of the best bits chosen from Gerry’s 2FM radio show.
Introduced by Gerry’s eldest daughter, Lottie – who has worked on Breakfast Republic on 2FM alongside Jennifer Zamparelli, Keith Walsh and Bernard O’Shea for over five years, the show was a nostalgic throwback to the great days when the radio legend was on the airwaves.
Fans took to social media to share their feelings about the Ryan Line reopening, and it seems to have struck a chord with fans of the late presenter.
