Lisa Jordan is getting behind the mic.
The influencer has teased her plans for 2024 to VIP Magazine.
And while she will be focusing on her businesses – LUNA by Lisa and Edit Row – she also wants to branch out into something brand new.
She tells VIP Magazine at this year’s eir Power of Women Awards that she has plans to start a podcast in 2024.
“I definitely want to start a podcast. I have been talking about it for the last three years,” she confesses but she wants to put the groundwork in now.
“But I haven’t found the right way to do it. I would like a co-host but I haven’t decided how the format would run. But that’s what I’m focusing on for next year.”
However, right now she’s focused on her two brands as it’s her “busy season” right now with Black Friday and Christmas quickly approaching.
“Everything is going from strength to strength. It’s flying, so it’s brilliant,” she enthuses.
Edit Row, her fashion brand, was launched in January of this year. Before that, Lisa had been focusing on her beauty range LUNA by Lisa which has been going for six years now. So how has she found the change from beauty into fashion?
“When I started off I was in fashion. I did fashion in college, fashion is more in my DNA than beauty,” she admits.
“I started beauty in my twenties, I went to College of Commerce in Cork and did beauty therapy They both work hand-in-hand to make us all feel good and look good.”
However, there are some differences she confesses in the business side of things.
“But in terms of the business element, I can find that fashion moves a bit faster than beauty. With makeup the trends last a bit longer and you have more focus.”
