Lauren Arthurs is celebrating the upcoming arrival of her first child in style!
The blogger celebrated over the weekend with a stunning baby shower, with friends and family there to take part in the joy.
The relaxed occasion was hosted in her parent’s garden, which had been transformed for the big day.
Opting for a floral theme, the garden had been decked out with colourful natural tones. As Lauren explained: “My parents have the most beautiful garden so I wanted the theme to be really floral and green looking and it was perfect.”
The landscape was transformed with marquees for the big day, while guests were treated to BBQ catering. Along with custom cocktails including a non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiri for the expecting mama.
The couple forwent the typical baby shower set up of just the mother’s friends attending and instead hosted all their loved ones for the celebration.
“I had mentioned to John a few months ago that I didn’t think I wanted a girls only baby shower but instead wanted a big friends and family celebration with everyone we loved there. Especially after the tough few months on John’s family side, we wanted a happy family occasion to mark and he loved it. And so the idea for the baby BBQ was born. It was all that we wanted and more,” Lauren explained.

The influencer confirmed that she was expecting her first child with her husband, John O’Flynn, back in March.
She took to Instagram to share her good news with a gorgeous video. In the clip, she walked towards the ocean before her husband joined her with both of them placing their hands on our blossoming baby bump.
“Our next chapter awaits,” she captioned the video. A few weeks later Lauren revealed she was expecting a baby girl.
