Our September cover star Katja Mia has shared her engagement joy, after long-term boyfriend Darragh Curran popped the question abroad.
The happy couple, who’ve been together for seven years, are enjoying an Italian escape and it was along the Amalfi Coast where Darragh asked Katja to marry him.
“Well I’m still shook,” the presenter told VIP Magazine. “We’ve been together since 2017 and had always talked about our future together, but he really threw me off the scent and I didn’t see it coming on this trip.”
She continued, “We’re both on cloud nine and enjoying our engagement bubble. We’re so excited for our next chapter!”
Being a prominent figure both on tv with The Six O’Clock Show and online, Katja has put up boundaries over the last few months, to protect her loved ones; both her partner, and her family.
She decided to be more cautious of what she shares surrounding those in her closest circle – but of course, this is a special occasion, and one she’s more than happy to shout about.
“I think my relationship with Darragh, I don’t really show that as much as I used to, and my family,” she said. “I always try to be as open as I can but have some boundaries for the people I love.”
