Jeremy McConnell has denied charges of assault at a court hearing today.

The former Big Brother star was recently charged with assault and criminal damage in relation to an incident involving on-off girlfriend Stephanie Davis at her home in March of this year.

The Dubliner admitted to the criminal damage but denied charges of assault by beating.

Just last weekend, Jeremy and Steph spent time together with their new baby Caben, with Stephanie posting a cute tweet saying, “Date night tonight! 5 weeks sober today #proud @JezzaMcConnell #dontbeliveeverythingyouread.”

The former Hollyoaks actress also said they had a “lovely family Sunday” together.

The Swords native will appear at Liverpool Crown Court on August 7th for his trial date, following today’s hearing.
