Jennifer Zamparelli is getting back to her roots.
The former 2FM host will be showing off her vocal chops once again as she returns to the stage in an iconic musical.
She will reunite with her Priscilla Queen of the Desert co-star Jason Donovan in The Rocky Horror Show.
The cult classic will take to the stage in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from 11th to 16th August this autumn.
Jason and Jennifer previously worked together in 2013 in the stage production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert during it’s Irish run.
Bord Gáis Energy Theatre has confirmed that Jennifer will play the Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show.
Speaking about the cast announcement Jennifer said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be taking on the role of the Narrator in the iconic musical The Rocky Horror SHow when it comes to Dublin in August, it’s always been a favourite of mine!
“It’s sexy, outrageously funny and it’s going to be so much fun working with such a brilliant cast including my old pal – the legend that is Jason Donovan! It’s certainly been a while, but I can’t wait to get started.”
Jennifer previously teased to VIP Magazine that a return to acting was in the cards for her after leaving 2FM.
“More acting; I’d like to get back on stage; do more writing also. Maybe go back to school….” she confessed about what she wanted next.
She added: “I’ve been hustling since I was 17 years old. I don’t know any different. I’m a yes person, a think about it later person. Already I’m in a writing room working on a comedy series.”
Well we can’t wait to see her back on stage!
