Jamie Dornan has revealed the reason behind his drastic new look.
The 50 Shades actor shocked fans earlier this week when he debuted a close-shaven ‘do, instead of his typical Mr Grey hairstyle. The heartthrob’s daring move comes just days before the 50 Shades Darker premiere – and many devoted fans were left disappointed with the new Jamie.
“Jamie, I want your hair back,” said one fan. While another commented, “Jamie Dornan currently has more hair on his face than on his scalp. What is life?!”
Now, the Co.Down native has revealed his new look isn’t due to a mid-life crisis – it’s for a new movie he’s currently working on.
“It’s for work.” he told Jimmy Kimmel. “In my early ’20s, I used to have a shaved head quite a lot. So, I know that I don’t have one of those weird shapes.”
It was recently reported that Jamie is set to star in the new Robin Hood film. Sources told Variety that the Co. Down native is in talks to feature as Will Scarlet in the new Hollywood flick, however reps for the movie refused to comment.
