Conor McGregor has reportedly been headhunted by HBO to appear in one of the final two remaining series of Game of Thrones.
Belfast newspaper Sunday Life is reporting that the American network that produces the hit show, is seeking out the Crumlin native to appear in the upcoming final series.
Reportedly, one of the directors of the show is a huge UFC fan and they recommended that the boxing champ would be the perfect fit for the popular series.
“It’s been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two seasons of Game of Thrones.” a source told the Sunday Life.
“He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan. They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show.”
Conor recently revealed that his long-time love Dee Devlin is expecting their first chid, and he will be taking some time off from boxing ahead of her due date in May.
Now that the father-to-be has a little more time on his hands, we wouldn’t be surprised if he tried his hand at acting.
