Also on the show this week is Declan Carty.

At an inquest this week, he described the terrible moment when he found his wife Lorna’s body on the beach after she was killed in the 2015 terrorist attack on a Tunisian holiday resort. He will join host Ryan Tubridy to talk about the horror of that day and how the family has been coping since.

Singer-songwriter Phil Coulter and his wife Geraldine Branagan will be in studio to share their 45-year love story, that started when he asked her to sing his song in Eurovision (she came fifth) and has endured ever since. And Phil will be performing some of his most beloved Eurovision hits.

As they prepare to celebrate the 1,000th episode of Europe’s second longest-running game show Winning Streak, Marty Whelan and Sinead Kennedy will chat about being masters of the wheel that everyone wants to spin.

With charity Barnardos launching its ‘Lost Childhood’ campaign to shine a light on the impact on children of issues including the housing crisis, viewers will hear from two mothers whose families have been affected by homelessness in different ways.

There will be music from Mundy and Kila.

The Late Late Show airs Friday, February 23rd at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
